What We Offer

Halleck Creek Ranch’s core programs offer adaptive riding, equine-assisted learning, and vocational training designed to support individuals with disabilities at every stage of life. Grounded in PATH International standards and delivered by experienced instructors, our programs use the unique partnership between people and horses to build confidence, independence, emotional awareness, and practical life skills. Whether mounted or unmounted, individual or group-based, each program is thoughtfully designed to meet participants where they are and support growth in a safe, inclusive, and supportive ranch environment.

Our Participants

Our program participants range in age from young child to mature adult. They travel here from seven different Bay Area counties. In 2025 45% of our participants reported having more than one diagnosed disability. That means each lesson is highly customized to fit the physical, mental, and emotional needs of each participant. This list is just a starting place of who we serve. If you feel your family member or self could benefit from our services please contact us to discuss.

Common diagnoses include:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • ADHD

  • Down Syndrome

  • Epilepsy

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Spina Bifida

  • Blindness

  • Deafness

  • Hearing Impairment

  • And much more

True Cost of Lessons

It Takes a Village - True Cost Graphic (3).png

At Halleck Creek Ranch our priority is accessibility. That means both physically as well as economically. Any rider may offset their tuition with our Breaking Barriers scholarship fund. In fact most of our participants receive some percentage of scholarship aid.

Each lesson's "true cost" to operate is about $310, far higher than what we charge our families per lesson. Even charging what we do 84% of our program tuition is covered by our donor community. Through generosity of others, we are able to keep programs both affordable and approachable to all. Don't be afraid to apply based on financial concerns alone.

We are always happy to answer questions and talk through our offerings to help you find the best fit.
